Merry Chistmas Cold

Ohh Merry Christmas!  It's not so merry because I have a cold and cough.  Nevertheless, looking forward to watching my kids open xmas gifts tonight.  The gifts under the tree aren't so many in quantity, but if I can teach my kids, a quality gift they really love will be worth more than a bunch of insignificant gifts, that will be a gift in itself to take the rest of their lives.  Appreciation is the key, and I'm coming into a realization in my lifte that simple is more.  I grew up being showered with quantity and am going through a transformation with the realization that I have clutter issues in my life.  Seeking clarity and Happiness through the simple, yet beautiful.  I'll be there by next year hopefully.   Merry Christmas!

Team Umi Zoomi Bot Costume

My son is infatuated with Team UmiZoomi. They are these cute anime inspired characters that teach introductions to numbers, shapes, patterns and other mathmatical beginnings. There's "Milli" the girl, "Geo" the boy, and "Bot" the robot that has access to a cool "Belly Screen". I assumed that Branzen wanted to be the boy, and so I propose to him, "Do you want to be Geo for Halloween"? He replies, "No, I want to be Bot, and Daddy be Geo". I thought it was the cutest thing! Hence, I'm now taking on a new project. They had some cool DIY Bot Templates available on the NickJr. website. Although, I'm using the pattern for the headpiece, I'm making my own rendition of the body for his costume.

Materials used:  1.5 yards Green Fleece Fabric, 1/3 yd metallic silver lame, 1/8 yd blue felt, black and white felt squares, Extra Wide Goldenrod Bias Tape, Foam Crafting sheets, Bendy Straw, cleaned applesauce cup for receptor.

Busy Day Fall Festivites

Today was a great day with a very good friend of mine.  My kids and I experienced some beautiful and warm hospitality with Halloween and Fall essences and touches.  We enjoyed warm apple/pumpkin sauce served in mini pumpkins, delicious shoyu meatballs, and corn salad beautifully mixed with fresh herbs and peppers creating an artists' paint pallette.  The kids enjoyed decorating cupcakes all in black and orange Halloween fashion!

My Kids bring me Happiness

One of my most cherished moments is enjoying this period in my life watching my two little kids be silly and play together at home.  This time while I'm at home with them is godsend even though I may not be working at the moment.  I wouldn't change anything as it stands right now.   I am so rich with blessings.  It's not always easy, but it's so worth it being able to wake up to their cute little munchkin faces.  Here they are the other day in the back yard, Branzen Ka'alokele (almost 3) & Kulani Briana (1.5).  They tickle my soul with delight!

Yay! Stella & Dot

I'm really excited, my "big sis" Anita, who was my volunteer big sis through The Big Brothers Big Sister Program of SF when I was 8, called and just told me she has a $500 + Stella & Dot order for me!   I've started as a Stylist for Stella & Dot this past June, and I must say that the choice has only been positive!  It's really a test of and overcoming self doubt and the internal fears that block ourselves to suceed.  Although I have my days when I feel uncertain of my choice, the seeds I've planted to start the business payoff eventually.  I joined Stella & Dot because the jewelry is just gorgeous, and the business mirrored my lifestyle and where I can be my own boss.  I set my own investment time as I needed while I'm home with the kids. Yay for a big sale!

Good Morning WWW

I'm up early this morning which twice this week. Before the kids get up at around 8am. Procrastinated on doing the dishes last night, so I made sure I did that before opening up my laptop.  There's not much on the agenda today except to make sure the kids are fed and happy.  Tried meditating this morning and helped charged the energy.  Sold two ebay items this morning!  Nothing like waking up to a little cha-ching!  If you want to see what I do check me and my items out at: http://myworld.ebay.com/divinefindz707

I am so new at this

I am so new to this blogging tool.  It's amazing how many blogs you can incorporate.  The lightbulb finally lit, like duuhhh, a million years later.  Just blog about my life.  I think I'm liking this.
